As part of its quarterly report, Nintendo said the Switch has moved 14.86 million units as of the end of 2017. That’s already more than the Wii U in its entire life, which is even faster than expected.The Nintendo Switch was unveiled in late 2016, and it launched in March of 2017. Official Nintendo Switch microSD cards are much more expensive than normal versions

When Nintendo announced the Switch, the company made it clear that the device wouldn’t require specific, proprietary SD cards. That’s in contrast to companies like Sony, which have previously required that their handheld devices use proprietary SD cards with correspondingly inflated prices. It’s a bit of a surprise, therefore, to see Nintendo partnering with manufacturer HORI in Japan to release two official flavors of SD cards — a 16GB and a 32GB. Everyone is trying to banish the whirring fans from laptops and 2-in-1 hybrid computers these days, but that often means using a low-power chip like the Intel Core M. Acer has just announced the Switch Alpha 12, a new silent hybrid laptop that skips the modest, cooler chips and goes right for a 6th Generation Intel Core CPU (Skylake). Instead of noisy fans, this laptop uses a liquid-cooling system, a first for 2-in-1 hybrid laptops. This isn’t the first time a liquid-cooled laptop has existed. Asus released a monstrous gaming laptop last year called the GX700, but it was only liquid-cooled when plugged into a giant desktop radiator attachment.
