America leads world in prescription painkiller, heroin abuse

recoverybrands.com Drug treatment research and marketing firm Recovery Brands created a map measuring rates of drug treatment cases all over the world using UN numbers. Drug abuse in the U.S. has placed the nation at or near the top of all the wrong lists. America’s pain pill and heroin addiction exceeds that of all other countries in the world, statistics from the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) show. And only Icelanders suffer more drug overdose deaths and ingest more marijuana than Americans, according to numbers recently crunched by drug treatment research and marketing firm Recovery Brands from UNODC’s 2014 World Drug Report. At the recent Tokyo Motor Show where Motobot was unveiled, it announced that the reason it was created was to simply “surpass you.” Presumably, that means piloting a 1000cc Yamaha R1M around a racetrack at over 200kmph, and beating MotoGP champion Valentino Rossi. Blathering on in a voice font crafted to ambiguous perfection, Motobot further inquires of us: “There has to be something only I am capable of?” Indeed there is one, and perhaps only one edge that Motobot now has on the track — it can’t die.
